Angie Does Hongdae, Seoul
Hongdae is along the Northwest banks of the Han River in Seoul. It is notable for its many colleges and universities which creates a youthful vibe. Because it is so jammed packed with entertainment, it is possible to spend the whole day in Hongdae on foot and still make it back to Pyeongtaek in time for dinner.
Here's a look at my day in Hongdae (times are approximate):
10:00am - catch 761 bus at Kyobang Times Square,
Shinsegae Department Store; get off at Seogyodong stop |
10:30am - 943 King's Cross (Harry Potter themed cafe)
Pro tip: arrive in the morning,
this place gets busy in the afternoon and a line starts to form out the door. |
2:30pm - Meerkat Friends If you only go to one animal cafe in Seoul, this is the one to go to. Age-restricted to 14 years and older for everyone's safety. |
4:00pm - Rage Room
The Rage Room a room of electronics and ceramics for you to smash. I did not realize I had so much rage until I had the opportunity to release it.
Adults only for safety reasons.
