Angie Does Hongdae, Seoul

Hongdae is along the Northwest banks of the Han River in Seoul. It is notable for its many colleges and universities which creates a youthful vibe. Because it is so jammed packed with entertainment, it is possible to spend the whole day in Hongdae on foot and still make it back to Pyeongtaek in time for dinner.  Here's a look at my day in Hongdae (times are approximate): 9:00am - Pyeongtaek Station to  Yeongdungpo Station 10:00am - catch 761 bus at Kyobang Times Square, Shinsegae Department Store; get off at Seogyodong stop 10:30am - 943 King's Cross (Harry Potter themed cafe) Pro tip: arrive in the morning,  this place gets busy in the afternoon and a line starts to form out the door. 11:30am -  Kakao Friends Shop and Cafe and random shopping/wandering 12:30pm - Raccoon Cafe I am glad we did this as it made us appreciate the next animal cafe even more but if we did it over again we would skip it and do som...
